Question about image building URL

I am trying to add SAS support to the plugin and have been successful for the core image. However, I cannot find the function that builds the full URL when the system requests a thumbnail. Can you let me know what function handles thumbnail URL generation. I updated windows_azure_storage_wp_get_attachment_url and that is working for the full image.
Example: headshot.png works as expected but headshot.-150x150.png is not updated with the above function so the required query parameters are not added.
