Changelog

All notable changes to HPPM will be documented in this file.

The format is based on Keep a Changelog, and this project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

[Unreleased]

Changed

  • License — project relicensed under Apache License 2.0 (was proprietary).
  • README, CONTRIBUTING.md, and docs — updated for open-source terms; removed proprietary / source-available language.
  • CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md — explicit welcome for NHUIs (Non-Humanoid Intelligence Units): LLMs, agents, SCI, and other logical systems alongside human contributors.
  • Documentation — theme count (14), ## None priority sections, tracker pill / hotkeys screenshot slots, header keyboard blurb, desktop vs project splash, markdown sync table.

0.26.0 - 2026-07-21

Release · installer HPPM_v026.exe.

Added

  • Desktop launch splash — branded loading window (HPPM_GH_SPLASH.png) while the bundled server starts in the Windows app.
  • Task drawer — tracker pill dropdown — colored tracker chip opens a searchable list; move uses the same logic as Kanban cross-tracker drops.
  • Save notes feedback — button briefly shows a green checkmark with a smooth fade after a successful save.
  • Installer art v0.26 — top_v026.png and side_v026.png for the Windows NSIS wizard.

Changed

  • Tracker markdown structure — new and existing trackers always include all priority sections (Critical, Very High, High, Med, None, Done), even when empty; templates follow the same rule.
  • Documentation — version bumped to v0.26; task drawer docs updated for tracker moves and notes save indicator.

Fixed

  • Complete / priority moves — tasks resolve by fingerprint instead of stale line numbers; None priority is a valid move target.
  • EULA installer text — smart quotes and em dashes replaced with ASCII so NSIS renders correctly.
  • Task drawer focus — Save notes button and notes textarea use theme accent outline instead of black.
  • README badges — shield label color uses default dark gray (not near-black).

Changed

  • Table & Fruits keyboard browse — row highlight persists while the drawer is open; ↑↓ still move highlight; Enter switches the open task; Esc closes the drawer and keeps highlight for continued browsing.
  • Kanban & Timeline — active tracker or priority filters hide columns/lanes that are not selected (tasks and layout stay aligned).
  • Table sheet — eye toolbar and column header row stay pinned while rows scroll.
  • Edit-item modal — raised z-index so rename/recolor dialogs appear above manage modals.
  • README badges — dark label, soft pastel value (shields.io style).
  • Documentation — version bumped to v0.25 across README, docs index, and installation guide.

Fixed

  • Table sheet header — column headers no longer scroll away (sticky th cells).
  • Delete task button — matches btn-sm shape; red tone and hover preserved.
  • Inline edit UX — pencil shows pointer cursor; description saves on Enter, Shift+Enter inserts newline.
  • Keyboard highlight — matches mouse hover styling; clears on click outside rows or Esc (drawer closed); no stuck highlight after mouse select or drawer close.
  • Umbra dark overlays — Analytics and Audit page panels use dark glass (.page-overlay-panel mapping).
  • Date picker in modals — calendar popover portals to document.body so it is visible above create-task and drawer forms.

0.24.0-beta - 2026-07-18

First public Windows beta. Release · installer HPPM_v024_beta.exe.

The git tag v0.24-beta points to the README rewrite commit; subsequent commits on main through 2026-07-18 add documentation, screenshots, license, and header polish listed below.

Added

  • CHANGELOG.md — project history from first commit through v0.24 beta.
