No noticeable difference after Atlas OS installation !

After installation, I checked Windows Task Manager and observed the same number of processes as before. Idle CPU and RAM usage appear unchanged. I also don’t notice any difference in system responsiveness.

P.s. Clean install .No errors occurred during installation. The system was already relatively optimized before installing Atlas OS.

What kind of "clean install" was this? Did you use an iso or a bootable USB drive with installation media? And if installation media, did you clear all partitions on your main drive?

During reinstallation of standard windows 11 with bootable USB drives, I personally hit shift + f10 to open command prompt, and run the diskpart clean command on my main drive.

diskpart
list disk
select (main disk number here)
clean
exit

Just to make sure nothings left over.

I also disconnect from the internet during setup, press shift + f10 again and run

start ms-cxh:localonly

to get a local account and bypass the ai slop somewhat.

Reconnect to the internet only now, install network drivers and update windows as usual. Update any other drivers you may need manually, and afterwards run

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
and
SFC /ScanNow

just to wrap it all up.

Restart, and finally apply the AtlasOS playbook.

side note: everything else besides these extra steps should be as if you're performing a regular windows reinstallation.

Hi ! Thank you ill try to reinstall it again , and I’ll double check things like telemetry services, defender state, and removed apps to confirm the playbook actually applied.
