Context and steps to reproduce

  1. Buy a campaign with a credit card
  2. Add yourself some free credits
  3. Start a new campaign
Image Image
  1. The campaign doesn't seem to use the free credits even if the final charging happens against the credits.
  2. On a new account with no billing details attached, it looks like this:

  1. The campaign also doesn't seem to use the free credits.

This issue could use some more labels, to help prioritize and categorize our work. Could you please add at least a [Type], a [Feature], and a [Pri] label?

See p1740133882468639/1740130543.210899-slack-C01UW7SB411 to to see how to get the credits refunded for testing.

I tried using the existing free Blaze credits($50) and even updated the value and that didn't reflect right away.

I also tried to see how to display those credits and it will only show up if you select a specific duration:

I'm not sure if this is expected.

@Automattic/shilling would this be something for your team?

Thanks for the ping! I believe the Ads team are the maintainers of the Blaze widget. They've been pinged here: p1740152756464899-slack-C0351BKR0M6
