Description
Minecraft's Version
When killing only 1 entity from a stacked group using WildStacker, the server drops more than the maximum possible loot, as if 2 or more entities died, even though only a single entity was killed.
Plugin's Version
- Server Version: Paper 1.21.4
- WildStacker Version: WildStacker-2025.2
- Weapon Used: Netherite Sword
- Looting III
- Sharpness 100
- Entity Type: Cow
- Stack Size: 16 cows merged into one stack
Describe the bug
A stack of 16 cows was killed using a Netherite sword with Looting III and Sharpness 100.
When killing only one cow from the stack, the entity drops more than 6 items, which should be the absolute maximum possible for a single cow with Looting III.
This indicates that WildStacker may be applying loot calculations incorrectly, possibly treating the kill as if more than one entity died.
To Reproduce
- Create or find a stack cows using WildStacker.
- Feed wheat to cows and let them breed
- Equip a Netherite sword with Looting 3 .
- Attack the stacked entity once to kill only 1 cow.
- Observe the number of dropped items.
- The loot amount exceeds the expected maximum for a single cow.
Additional Information
Expected Behavior
-
Only the loot of the single killed entity should drop.
-
With Looting III, a cow should drop no more than 6 items total.
-
Stacked entities should not produce excessive or duplicated loot.
-
More than 6 items are dropped, which is only possible if multiple cows were counted as dead.
-
Loot appears to be calculated as if two or more entities were killed simultaneously.
