Does senders need to fully unblind to allow a collaborative transaction?

I'm sorry can you provide more context? What do you mean by "unblind"?

Just seen this - I meant this in the context of liquid transactions. I think I may have misunderstood the project

Dicemix is in general compatible with Confidential Transactions (as deployed in Lighting), and senders won't need to unblind. See https://eprint.iacr.org/2017/238.pdf for details.

Still, this repo may not what you're looking for because this is an unfinished and de-facto abandoned implementation of Dicemix, and there are currently no concrete plans to continue it.

Thanks! Do you know if anyone is building anything like this?

@real-or-random I think you mean Liquid rather than Lightning.

There's https://github.com/decred/cspp but it's not in the context of Confidential Transactions.
