Files not deleted properly

Processed files are not being deleted properly. As an example, here is my tmp directory ~2 hours into a run:

All I should see at this point is mostly just category videos - i.e. A1, A2, A4. I should not also still see the individual videos (A1 George Funnell, A1 Rowan Liddell, etc)

This is... weird! When the call is made to delete them, they are still present, but when the script stops executing they are gone - almost like something is retaining a reference or lock and preventing them from being removed??
