TONEX one tuner on/off issues midi cc

I've tried to send cc messages from my midi controller (fcb1010) and it works. But when I send cc 9 and a value of 0 (for one pedal och my midi controller and cc9 and 127) for another pedal , the tuner won't start. Any tips of how activate/deactivate turner via midi on TONEX one with my polar pico device ?

Hi. Unfortunately Midi activation of the tuner is not supported. I haven't yet been able to find any way of doing that for the Tonex One.
There are about 3 or 4 Midi commands that the big Tonex supports that aren't supported here. Tuner is one of these.

Does the Polar manual state that it is supported? If so, I'll contact the Pirate guys and get them to amend it.

I don't know if this one can be solved in the future or not. The One may not have the code inside it for this.

Curious if it's worth reaching out to IK through either support or potentially to the right person on linkedin to see if it could be added in a future firmware update, cause I know I'd love for this to work as well.

I don't think IK would be too helpful here. I don't think they are happy that the small cheap pedal is being made to be about as good as their big pedal

According to this video from Morningstar, the Tonex One+ supports the midi command to activate the tuner.

Perhaps this function has been added Tonex One in a recent firmware update?

Also, I'm sure this is a long shot, but would it be possible to show the notes the tuner is tuning to on the display of the controller? This would be really useful, as it would allow me to remove graphical tuner from my board completely!

Honestly, I'd be super happy to have this feature even if the midi control to turn the tuner on and off still isn't implemented.

Hi. I checked this out. Its Control Change value 9, which is documented for the big Tonex pedal and seems also supported on the One Plus.
These are Midi commands. The One (not plus) doesn't support Midi natively, and all comms are bridged by the controller into USB commands.
The issue I have is there doesn't appear to be a way to activate the Tuner via the USB side of things.
