Describe the bug
Lynis reflags "Harden compilers like restricting access to root user only [HRDN-7222]" because it checks the permission for the symlink, not the actual binary

Version

  • Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
  • Lynis version 3.0.9

Expected behavior
Don't mention this suggestion anymore if actual binary has root access only.
