I'm afraid I can provide only limited help since I am not currently developing in MediaWiki and have stopped maintaining this project.

Do you plan to pick up development?

Is it ok for the Free Software Foundation to take over the project?

I do not plan to pick up development, and yes it's OK for the Free Software Foundation to take over. Go for it!

Thanks, good to know. I don't expect the FSF to take over the project so please don't have any expectations. I really just wanted to give them freedom if they want to do it.
