Computer says Violin is not secure

When starting Violin for the first time, a message may appear that Violin is not from a trusted developer or that the application itself is insecure.
The reason your operating system complains, is because the application is not signed. Optaining code signing certificates is very expensive, and therefore not possible for Violin, as it is a non-commercial project.
If you are unsure whether you should trust Violin or not, you can read the source code yourself, or ask someone you know to read it for you in order to verify Violin does not do anything shady with your computer.
