npm run build:program #7

hello, i am having directory issues, i have tried every possible solution i could lay my hands on, but i keep getting this error
root@Jay:~/solana/hello-solana# npm run build:program

> cargo build-bpf --manifest-path=./solana/hello-solana/src/program/Cargo.toml --bpf-out-dir=dist/program
'\\wsl.localhost\Ubuntu-24.04\root\solana\hello-solana'
CMD.EXE was started with the above path as the current directory.
UNC paths are not supported. Defaulting to Windows directory.
'cargo' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
i am running on WSL.
