Hello Everyone, I am a new learner of NodeJS, I like Countly.

I had cloned the source from GitHub,and thanks for the wonderful bash scripts , I deployed a running Demo Countly APP successfully.

But When I want to do something , Like translating the word , or do some adjustments , or want to develop a new plugin , I found , I did not find the documents for how to developing or continuse deploy to the running server.

Any help will be my honor.

Waiting for your advices.

Hello
you can check this section:
https://support.countly.com/hc/en-us/sections/360007406751-Plugin-Development

it might be a bit outdated, we are improving and moving to a newer frontend, but the main part in your question should be covered here: https://support.countly.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036862392-Introduction#starting-your-plugin-development

Let us know if you have any more questions :)

That is useful,Thanks.

Do you develop the project on Ubuntu?

simply run countly restart on your server

I think I need to install countly server on my computer , then I can use countly restart . But I am using a macOS . I did not know how to install on it . And If I want to develop the project using VSCode or WebStorm , How can I do that?

Thanks for your help.

yes, by default, we do development on a remote Ubuntu server through VSCode
but you can probably set it on any OS through docker and use it for development that way. Unfortunately I do not have experience with that, but I may try to find someone who does :)
