Slow Query from Datadog Agent MySQL

We run CloudSQL MySQL 5.7 and set datadog mysql integration on a GCE instance. The agent version that we currently use is version 7.36.1

The slow_query_log catches some slow query coming from datadog agent user. Currently we set long_query_time to 10 seconds. The query is

digest_text,
count_star,
sum_timer_wait,
sum_lock_time,
sum_errors,
sum_rows_affected,
sum_rows_sent,
sum_rows_examined,
sum_select_scan,
sum_select_full_join,
sum_no_index_used,
sum_no_good_index_used
FROM
performance_schema.events_statements_summary_by_digest
WHERE
digest_text NOT LIKE 'EXPLAIN %'
OR digest_text IS NULL
ORDER BY
count_star DESC
LIMIT 10000

Are there any known issue regarding this? Is this already solved on the more recent agent version?

have a look at only_query_recent_statements. this seems to have made a big difference on our end - slow agent queries have dropped to 0. 🤞
