[BUG] Extension doesn't work in symlinked folder

Describe the Bug

The extension won't open file or line history when trying to open it while in a symlinked folder.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Have the extension installed
2. Go to any Git tracked project in a symlinked folder and open already tracked file
3. Use the command Git: View File History
4. This should open the file history in a new tab, but it doesn't/throws errors

Expected Behavior

I expect the file history tab to open

Environment

• OS: Linux 6.18.13-arch1-1
• VSCode version: 1.109.5
• Git History version: 0.6.20

The recent VSCode update seems to have restored functionality.

I was wrong, this extension misbehaves when in a symlinked folder.
