Describe the bug
Bug - After destroying a few enemy NPC ships and using dscan or system scan can cause a server and client crash.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Buy and fit a ship.
Warp to an asteroid belt and wait for NPC enemies to warp in.
Attack and destroy enemy NPC's more then one.
Open scanner and run a system scan or use dscan.

Expected behavior
After destroying enemy NPC's and using dscan you should see wrecks show up in the list.
After destroying enemy NPC's and running a system scan wrecks should show up in list.

  • Server OS: Ubuntu
  • Docker – Latest Staging Build 0.8.5 as of 08/07/2023

this means the signal system has been changed.
a server crash using any scanner is a segfault because something wasnt updated properly.

i dont recall this being a bug in my code, but it has been a while.
i may look into it one day when i have nothing else to do.
