Recommended Input Output Levels

Hi, wonder if anyone could confirm the "standard" setting we should use for Blackhole input and output volume? I'm using it for screen recording, using a Multi-Output Device.

I would think that 0dB makes sense, but not really sure how this all works. When I noticed the sliders today, they were down at -16, so don't know if it installed like that to help stop clipping, or if I accidentally changed it at some point.

You want to keep it at 0db unless you are using multiple sources and want to reduce the volume to prevent clipping. BlackHole does not automatically adjust volume but some apps do it like Zoom etc. Devin
