Lately, I’ve been thinking about how most Fossify app icons look very uniform — they all share a similar style and color tone. While consistency is great, this uniformity makes the app drawer feel a bit flat and less visually engaging.
On the other hand, Google’s icons — though all instantly recognizable as part of one family — use different colors and subtle variations that make each app feel distinct, yet cohesive. It gives their ecosystem a lively, balanced visual appeal.
I wonder if Fossify could explore a similar approach, bringing in multi-colored or more expressive icons while still keeping a unified identity.
What do you all think?
