How do I (npm) install orderBy pipe only?

¡Hola!

I am looking for the optimal way to use your orderBy pipe on my ionic 2 project, but I can't find any docs on that. It would be enough if I can get orderBy only, or all the pipes in a npm way.

Is it possible, or do I need to workarround?

BTW, I tried to npm install fuel-ui --save, but It seems to have a lot of extra dependencies I really don't need/want. :)

You should be able to just copy this file to your project. Import the file import {OrderByPipe} from "path/to/file";, and then add OrderByPipe to your Pipes array of any components that will be using the pipe.

I was trying that, when I faced this error message:

ParseError: 'import' and 'export' may appear only with 'sourceType: module'

Do you have any clue on it?
I am using ionic 2 + angular 2 RC

that fuel-ui-pipes is there because, as I think your pipes are so awesome their deserve their own npm module, I created a subtree fork:

Hope it's OK to you. This way, everyone will be able to install your pipes the npm way. I hope. :)

btw, it would be really cool if yourselves publish the (sub)module for pipes (that's what I mean in the original post by "npm install orderby pipe only")

We currently do not support Angular 2 RC5 and the modules set up. We're in the process of making updates to support RC5 correctly, feel free to track progress in our feature/RC5 branch.

You can try to add this file instead of the one I linked earlier. Then import and add FuiFormatPipeModule to your Modules import array.

If all else fails, I suggest https://github.com/fknop/angular-pipes for an RC5 Pipe library. It looks like @fknop has added a few Pipes that we have. And they have an npm package under npm install angular-pipes.

@mautematico Hi! If you decide to install angular-pipes. You can import only one pipe if you want to (check the docs folder for the correct import).
Ionic 2 is not using Angular RC.5 yet. But it should still work with RC.4 (latest beta of Ionic 2). I will remove all deprecated RC.4 stuff when RC.6 comes out.
