Alternative Microcontroller instead of Teensy 4.1?

Are there any alternative Microcontrollers that youn can use when you dont have access to a Teensy 4.1?

The usual alternative in the mechanical keyboard scene is an Arduino Pro Micro. I don't know if it would work plug'n'play style, but it is a common controller.
