This is not much of an issues as just a request as to how I can help with the development of galliumOS. I have an Intel Braswell computer with 4 gigs of RAM and 16 gigs eMMC storage. I will be getting a new computer soon (therefore leaving this one free for experimentation) and I am just wondering the ways in which I can help. I have a bit of programming experience (with python) and am working on basic c++.

Thanks for your interest! We are always looking for help with GalliumOS, and there are many different kinds of things to do.
The easiest way to get started is through testing, especially of new packages. Braswell models sometimes have tricky touchpads and keyboards for example. On many model families, internal audio can be an adventure.
Which model do you have, and do you experience any issues on it?
I have the Braswell model, the touchpad seems to be fine but the mic is not working currently. I am trying to replace the drivers to see if it can get the mic to work.
I have tried fixing my audio and I discovered it was not the software but the hardware that was not co-operating. What do you mean by testing software packages, could you please elaborate? Thanks.
