I understand that but in Gandi CLI context, for which usage ? What CLI command does not work without proxy support ? did you have a sample output, an error or something ?

The typical and often forgotten use case is when a corporate user/tool needs internet access, but needs to use the corporate proxy server for that. Not all users have direct internet access.
