I don't know why I can't control my android device with my mouse and keyboard.
This is what i see when running scrcpy.

Because you're running an ultra-old version (1.25), and Android API has evolved since then.

@rom1v but why the debian version is not maintained anymore? Even on ubuntu 24.10 and 25.04 (dev)

It cannot be updated in official Debian repositories because the Debian android packages are broken: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/scrcpy

But you can still install the latest version on Debian: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy/blob/master/doc/linux.md

Thanks man, you literally saved me a ton of time. Now I can use my tablet since the screen was cracked.
Also, how do I get the audio to work because there's no sound coming from the device speakers when using scrcpy?
