Gallery - Images are not displayed in edit mode

I have noticed a strange behavior of the gallery.

The images on some pages are not displayed in the edit mode of the gallery.

However, they are visible in the page overview.

Does anyone have an explanation or a solution?

I would like to describe another related behavior. When transferring the pages to the server, no preview images of the gallery are displayed either.

However, the gallery itself runs without any problems.

However, if I now regenerate the thumbnails and then transfer everything to the server, the gallery thumbnails are also displayed on the website.
As soon as I change something on the page and then transfer it to the server again, the preview display of the gallery on my website is lost again.
I can only solve the problem by regenerating the thumbnails again.
That's strange,
It only affects two of my pages. There are no problems with any of the others.

I don't think so. Especially since the problem hasn't happened since then! With the same images, with the same names. For the moment, I can't reproduce the problem.

I think, it's a problem with the database, where all the connections between posts and pages and images and other files are stored. It seems to be corrupted. Have you maybe moved, deleted, restored some Publii's files/folders? Or do you sync via dropbox or similar?

And from what I understand, once you import an image into a gallery, the original is copied into the Publii folder?! So even if I moved or destroyed the original, it should continue to work. Finally, I have never modified the Publii folder.

yes, but there are other folders containing libraries etc.
Anyway, my last idea is to update Publii to the current version and build a new site from scratch. It's annoying, I know.
But do not forget that we are on version 0.46, that Publii is for free and that the developers build it in their free time ...
Give the tool a chance, it is pretty cool once you are familiar with it

Thank you for your feedback. The image names are taken directly from the smartphone. No special characters. Interestingly, it only affects two pages. The folders are synchronized via the Nextcould desktop app, so I can work on multiple computers. There were no synchronization problems.
When I add a new photo to the gallery, there are no problems with the new photo. So I could solve the problem by deleting all the photos and uploading the same photos to the gallery again.
