Header logo is extremely squished

Hello, I'm using the Mercury theme 3.1.0.0. My logo is 600px wide by 223px high. I added custom CSS but it's not working:

.logo>img {
height: 223px;
width: 600px;
}

The logo is still squished. Any advice?
