Add a metatag and let the last three posts be shown on a page in Publii

Hello everyone,

I would like to know how to add a HTML metatag in the tag of a page in publii
And I would like to add a section to a page where the last three posts are displayed, the way they are displayed on the tags page. But since I whant to add some other things after the posts, I can't just use a tags page... Can that somehow be done in publii?

Sadly I don't know alot about the topic, so I need a detailed introduction on where exactly I have to add what, that would be very nice, thanks ahead

Where exactly do you want to add this section? On the home page or on another page?

Ok, so I go in the custom HTML and add

(replace that with the tag they give me)

Or do I need to add anything else, so it will add it to the home (index/root) page?

And how do I do the other thing, with the three latest posts?

Just add your tag to the head section there. That's it. If you want to display the three posts on the homepage, just set it in the Theme settings in the Basic Settings section → Post per page

You have to edit the index.hbs file in this location: Documents ▸ ⁨Publii⁩ ▸ ⁨sites⁩ ▸ ⁨YOUR_SITE ▸ ⁨input⁩ ▸ ⁨themes⁩ ▸ ⁨YOUR_THEME

I looked into it today and the thing with the meta tag worked, so thanks about that.
About the home page, I changed my mind a bit (because I think it might be easier with my new idea and it will look better then my first Idea)
So I guess I'm still going to have to do it in the index hbs file, but I don't know what I have to write in there. So here some info:
I use the tattoo theme and I have 4 posts per row. Sometimes posts take up two spots.
My Idea was that I whant the first row to contain two containers (using up two spaces each) who will lead to a page instead of a post. And these two stay the same. And underneath the next rows would be normal, displaying the most recent posts.
Could you tell me what I need to write in the hbs file to acheve that?
