Improve and Add unit tests for untested tool and editor modules

Several core modules in editor/src/ have no unit test coverage.
Without tests, regressions in these areas can silently break user-facing
functionality and go undetected until manual QA or user bug reports.
This issue tracks the gaps and explains the risk of each untested area.

Hi, we do not assign issues but you're welcome to keep opening PRs with stuff (as long as you've read and work within the rules of our policies documented on the website), and we will aim to get to reviewing them when we have the availability.

Hi @Keavon got it that issues are not assigned I’ve started working on adding unit tests and I’m currently raising PR Please review them when you have time thanks !
