Machines used as the "embedded" system to run a DIY CNC are often fairly old and lower performance PCs... Now I'm running KiriMoto quite comfortably even on a 2012 era Intel i3 with 4GB of RAM, but the one thing which is slow is the animation. Some yet lower resolution options could give a major use-ability boost for these scenarios. The lowest it will presently go is 100 (setup-->preferences-->display-->animate). Could options also be provided to go down to 50 or 20?
The idea being that this way even really old and weak hardware can run KiriMoto, which would mean you could perform KiriMoto slicing right on the "embedded" PC rather than having to slice on a higher performance machine (which not absolutely everyone necessarily even has) then transfer the gcode files to the milling PC.
Thanks
