Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
In our organization, we are setting up workshop and attendees need a certificate of attendance, personalized with name, date, and content of the workshop

Describe the solution you'd like
It could be great that in an event, I could confirm the presence of the attendees, and it would generate a pdf based on a template. This template could be dowloaded by the registered people who attended the event.

@BENETNATH thanks for opening this issue! Your idea makes a lot of sense, especially for communities running workshops and needing a way to certify attendance.

Beyond just generating certificates, this also touches on broader event management needs—such as confirming presence, handling a Call for Papers (CFP) system, and potentially even managing a talks calendar. If hi.events were to support these features, it could evolve from a ticketing system into a more complete event management platform.

Before diving into implementation details, it would be great to hear from the maintainers(@daveearley ) whether this aligns with the project's vision. If it does, I’d be happy to discuss possible approaches—perhaps integrating a templating system for PDF certificates and extending the platform to support CFP submissions and a schedule for accepted talks.

If this goes beyond the project's scope, we could explore building it as an extension/plugin or an external tool that complements hi.events. Looking forward to your thoughts!
