Minify CSS is removing the double dots

My CSS is showing the path as "background:url(../images/bg.png) left top no-repeat', after converting to minified css. The output file shows as "background:url(/images/bg.png) left top no-repeat', Please help

Maybe it's a little late, but you can control that behavior with this setting:

rebase: false

BTW, I would rename this setting to something like rebaseUrls for clarity.

I observe the same problem: in my @font-face declaration, the dots in src: url("../fonts/fontname.ttf"); disappear, therefore the font isn't loading.

Unfortunately this extension is abandoned, I recommend using the updated fork made by Maingron/VSCodeMinify

With the .vsix file that he made available in the releases you can install locally and finally be able to minify JS with ES6.
