When using Vive XR Elite with no controllers connected, hands are shown in the browser app's (AC 121.1.0) environment on startup, but not when entering an immersive WebXR app.
Upon entering an immersive WebXR app, the hands turn into weird tiny controllers that only have a touch surface. Pinches are registered as basic clicks, but long-pinch doesn't register as a long-click.

Those samples are from the working group so I trust them 100%. Both of them show hands when I test it using Wolvic Chromium in a Quest device. This means that we're using the correct WebXR profile. If that does not work for HTC devices then it's a downstream issue that you should report to them.
