Name field allows empty strings

Describe the bug

Under Personal Settings --> General
I am able to set my name as empty strings " ", while the code checks for empty srtings, it does not implement check for whitespaces :)

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Personal Settings
2. Click on General
3. Set your name to " "
4. Hit Save button

Expected behavior

User's should not be able to set empty strings as their name
