Will different refresh rates be possible?

vmware with older xp driver supports 60 and 85 hz.
is it possible to hack or mod for 72-144 hz support with svga or cpu driver for vmware or vbox?

This is a problem, because there isn’t way how control screen refresh rate from virtual machine. Only one thing can I do, and this is reporting higher rates to system which be reported to application and games. But still there is no guarantee that VirtualBox will be able to redraw the screen in that rate.

I also need to add some rate control support because of VESA driver, so I’ll implement this, and we'll see if it has any effect in VM.
