Strange behavior Eco-Dim.05 Zigbee

I had a setup with a single Eco-Dim.05 Zigbee that worked just fine. I recently added a second one and didn't expect any problems. However the new one has odd behavior:

1. The first command it receives is handled immediately: the light goes on or off at once.
2. A command send shortly after will not be handled immediately, it will take 20 seconds or so before it will have an effect. As far I can tell it will not get "lost". It is handled eventually.
   3 After a longer time (I cannot tell how long) it will respond immediately again after which it will get in the same state as 2.

Checking the MQTT state I can see that the command is sent at once. The reflected state however will be the actual one from the device. The devices as seen by Zigbee2MQTT does show some differences in model, firmware date and firmware version as shown in the attached screenshots. Has anyone else seen this? Do I need to change a setting, or could my device be defective? Or maybe it needs a new Zigbee2MQTT converter?

You can try to set the transition to 1 in settings (specific) for the device. That helped, although the effect is that when you now turn the lights on manually, they start dimmed.

Thank you! This actually solved the issue and I now get the right behavior. Thanks for taking the time to respond and figuring it out in the first place..

I suppose the 2023 firmware works well?
Look for a firmware update, or ask the manufacturer for it

No, its the other way around. The 2021 version works fine, the 2023 version has the problem. There is no way to get a new firmware, the device is not made by EcoDim , I contacted them and they don't have a clue, they just seem rebrand a device it seems. No idea what the OEM is.

I believe these brands share firmware: EcoDim, Namron, Robb, Samotech, Sunricher
There is some stuff submitted to Z2M (zigbee-ota)

in my case its also the device with firmware from 2023 that has the issue (v1.00, 20230227). I have a newer one as well that has no issues (v1.04, build 20250426). I have contacted EcoDim and they are looking into the batch nummers. might be that the 2023 firmware build has an issue (although it has the same version number as the 2021 build).
