Looks like column accessor generation is not triggered at all when there's a variable with type GroupBy/Grouped, only when something is a column, row, or dataframe:

wow that's indeed exactly the same thing, just for a different reason. My attempt was a bit simpler but failed at the renaming columns part, which your solution handles better. I'll continue with yours :)
