Looking into the possibility for adding moras as a hierarchical unit (ideally separate from syllables) to help for analyses on mora-timed languages (i.e. Japanese).
I'm happy to look into actually implementing this, but some design discussion would be helpful:
- how feasible is it for this to be implemented as a hierarchical property (similar to but distinct from syllables), which would have e.g. {label, start/end, duration} information?
- I appreciate this might actually be non-trivial, so can you think of any hacky ways we might be able to get this information in the meantime?
