this is an awful bug, it makes it ruins the tortoise completely

I had the same problem, the sound is loud regardless of the distance.

Does this happen on server? And does this happen with only sullysmod installed? Also can you please tell me which subtitle is displayed when this happens?

I experienced while playing in a my solo survival, 1.20.1, with a lot of mods...

Can be Presence Footsteps mod?

I have never tried to reproduce the issue with only this mod...
