Add MySQL Support to Native PHP Desktop Apps

In native PHP, add support for MySQL databases so that native PHP desktop apps can store and retrieve data from MySQL. Some apps need MySQL instead of SQLite. Will this feature be added in the future?

There is no plan to provide MySQL support in the near future. There are many reasons for this, including:

• MySQL has a large resource footprint for it's required use-case.
• MySQL is not bundled in with NativePHP due to licensing and likely never will be, meaning that apps would never just "work" without the end-user having to install, configure and then configure your NativePHP app.

That being said, you could in theory adjust the database configuration in your AppServiceProvider to utilise MySQL if you so wish. The required eloquent driver is still present.
