Sample 24 ReadODText gives wrong output

I downloaded the library and tried the samples.
When I open the Files generated by the Sample 24 it has nearly flat output without any formats. This holds true for

odt (no formats, no Listitems at all!)

docx (no Titles, Formats, numbered Items)

html (no formats, numbered items)

Am I doing something wrong?
I did some digging and to me it looks as if PhpOffice\PhpWord\Reader\ODText\Content->read() swallows most of the xml elements. In the generated odt all formattags are wiped out. Perhaps some namespace weirdness?
