Testable FunctionEndpoint

NServiceBus.Testing is great for unit testing handlers and endpoint. It provides a testable EndpointInstance. It would be great if there is a testable FunctionEndpoint also to assert on published or sent messages using the Function endpoint.

The NServiceBus.AzureFunctions.InProcess.ServiceBus component has been officially sunsetted as Microsoft announced that .NET 8 will be the last release supporting the in-process hosting model.

We are closing all open issues as part of this sunset. We will continue to provide support and address critical fixes during the sunset period, but no new features will be added.

Migration path: New projects should use the isolated worker model instead. If you're currently using the in-process hosting model, please follow these migration instructions.

If you believe this issue represents a critical fix that should be addressed during the sunset period, please reopen this issue with a clear justification explaining why the change is necessary despite the sunset status.
