Where to go for help?

Hi there,

Feeling kinda awkward posting here, not really an issue more a question: Where do I go for specific Dancer2 help?

• IRC channel does exist, but nobody there has voice (had been some time since I used irssi, was kinda fun :D)
• Mailing list are published but the links return a 404

Is this, GH issues, the only Dancer2 specific place left?

Anyway, having a lot of fun using Dancer2.

I'll let bigpresh know about the mailing list archives. Mail is still flowing though, and people do respond. IRC is hit or miss - I still recommend posting there, if people are around they are generally helpful :-) I tend to lurk here more than anywhere, and other core devs do too.

@bigpresh @cromedome who's an admin on the channel? Not having +v (voice) means no one can actually speak in the channel.

Hmm, the bot Bender used to op us in there IIRC, but I have no ops - and as irc.perl.org has no services, there's not much I can do. In the past, I'd have just dropped mst a message :(

I've asked in #opers for help.

On the mailing list archives - things changed a fair bit with migration to Mailman 3, I'll have to have a look.

mail-archive.com was archiving the list, but it appears that stopped back in 2021: https://www.mail-archive.com/dancer-users@dancer.pm/maillist.html

I do wonder if we should move the channel to Libera - more people are already on there, so arguably easier for people to reach, and we can link to Libera's webchat to make it easy for people to click a link to chat?

Getting the network set back up with services is on my list but I started a new job in December and between it and my personal life's travel schedule … my "side project capacity" is at a minimum right now.
