Known issues resolved with newly released Holoscan v2.9 and new way of installing CLI, monai-deploy

The following is obsolete now as Holoscan CLI package is already published on Pypi. It will be one of the MONAI Deploy App SDK package's dependency, targeting version v3.0.

• MONAI Deploy App SDK v2.0 depends on holoscan ~=v2.0, whose latest release v2.9.0 has addressed the known issues, e.g. MultiMessageConditionInfo attribute not found. All Jupyter notebook tutorials have been tested working as expected, and have been updated to remove previous workarounds.
• MONAI Deploy App SDK's CLI, monai-deploy, uses the implementation in holoscan CLI. From holoscan v2.9.0, holoscan CLI has become standalone in its own package. It is yet to be decided whether MONAI Deploy App SDK needs to make holoscan CLI a required dependency or optional dependency. Besides, the holoscan CLI package has not been published on pypi.org yet. In the interim, please manually install the Holoscan CLI before running the Jupyter notebook tutorial or packaging the MAP. Please see below.
  The holoscan CLI Wheel file is created in the repo's CI/CD workflow, e.g. [here](https://github.com/nvidia-holoscan/holoscan-cli/actions/runs/12994471693), with the Wheel file being part of the zip archive. Once the archive is downloaded and inflated, the Wheel file can be used to pip install the holoscan CLI in the target environment.

It appears that the holoscan-cli can now be installed via pypi. By default it will install major version 3 which appears to be incompatible with MONAI Deploy App SDK v2.0. To ensure major version 2, you can do:

pip install "holoscan-cli<3.0.0"

Thanks for pointing it out @ChristianHinge ! The plan was to release MD App SDK v3,0 on the heel of the release of Holoscan SDK v3.0, but got delayed. The appropriate version of the Holoscan-CLI v3 will be added to MD App SDK v3 as an optional/extra dependency so the correct version can be pip installed.
