Fingerprint reader / fingerprint access control board (instead of NFC reader) might also be considered.

A given user could have several authentification methods (NFC, fingerprint...) so database schema should be updated accordingly.

Others automated methods of biometric identification can be :

• Iris recognition
• Facial recognition system
• Hand geometry
• Retinal scan
• Voice / speaker recognition

Each methods should be considered using a binary confusion matrix
