I created some teams and a standard channel (with all users).
In the team and in the channel settings, I set these notification settings:
Receive alerts: on
Mute [@all](https://forums.rocket.chat/u/all) and @here mentions: off
Mark as unread: on
Desktop and Mobile alerts: “All messages”
Using the Windows desktop app (4.14.1), new messages in direct chats are shown in the GUI, the taskbar icon shows total # of unread messages, additionally the chat partners with unread messages each show the number of unread messages.
This way, the user has a good information of the incoming messages.
Hovewer, new messages in a team or in the "all user" channel are only notified with a red dot in the task bar icon. The team and channel names are written in “bold”, but there is no indication of the number of new messages. The bold text ist easy to miss. Our users often miss new messages there.
It would be great if the number of unread messages would be shown near the team or channel name (just like it is done with direct chats).
