You can assign users groups to a role collection by adding them to the role collection.
- You're using a custom identity provider. For more information, see Trust and Federation with Identity Providers.
You can assign user groups from custom identity providers to a role collection. After having chosen the identity provider, enter the user group name.

Open the SAP BTP cockpit.

Go to your global account and subaccount (see Navigate in the Cockpit).

Choose Security > Role Collections.

Choose the role collection to which you want to assign user groups.

Go to the User Groups section and choose Edit.

Select the identity provider where the user group is stored.

Enter the name of the user group.
If you're using SAP Cloud Identity Services, you can find the name of the user group in the administration console under Users & Authorizations > User Groups. For more information, see the related link.

(Optional) To add other user groups, choose ➕ (Add a user group).

Save your changes.
