You create an extension site to integrate the extension application in SAP SuccessFactors.

You have administrator's permissions for SAP SuccessFactors. See Defining the People Pool for Managing Extensions.

For Java extension applications, make sure that the application's client-side is developed as a SAPUI5 component.
HTML5 extension applications are supported by default.

Depending on the SAP SuccessFactors release, go to:

In SAP SuccessFactors Admin Center, open the Extension Center.

On the Extensions on SAP BTP tab page, navigate to the Neo Environment screen area, and choose the link in the SAP Cloud Portal URL column for your integrated system.

In the extension site creation wizard:

Enter a name.

In the Template Source dropdown list, choose SAP SuccessFactors Extensions.

Select one of the templates based on your preferred layout.

Choose Create.
Your new extension site opens in edit mode.

Add your extension application to the extension site. This extension application has to be an HTML5 application.

From the Site Designer side panel, open Content Management, and choose Apps.

Choose + at the bottom left side, and choose New.

From the App Resource field, search for your extension application, and choose OK.
The application is added to the Apps list.

Add the extension application to the site menu.

In the Site Designer side navigation panel, choose Menu Editor.

Choose + and select Add Item.

In the Add Menu Item dialog, select App as your Item Type.

Search for your application and add it as a full-page application in your site.

Choose Save.
If you preview your extension site now, you'll see that the application is part of the site menu and is displayed as a full page application in your site.

Publish the extension site to make it available to all users.

Choose Extension Directory.

Hover over the card of your site, and click the arrow at the bottom right corner.

Choose Publish.

Access the extension site at runtime.

Hover over the published card of your site.

Choose the runtime URL that is displayed on the card.

You have created an extension site for your extension application, and your extension application appears in it.
