Hi,

we have a deployed BSP application on an S4 system.
For that application the package must be changed. We're invoking the tooling with command.

the app is deployed in package T2 and must be updated to T1.

After the command run the package is still T2.

We would either expect that a failure is thrown OR the package is changed. But not a successful deployment message...

Hi,
I would try updating your flow as follows;

  1. Append the noConfig flag
--noConfig

This will ensure if you are running the deploy command from the project path containing a ui5-deploy.yaml configuration, that the existing properties are not used.

  1. Append the verbose the flag
--verbose true

This will generate more debug logging to see what parameters are being read and what is being passed to the deployment step.

Hello @longieirl ,

please note that we're using @sap-ux/deploy-tooling and NOT @sap/ux-ui5-tooling.
So --noConfig is only applicable for @sap/ux-ui5-tooling...

The log shows that we're invoking with the right package but it's not changed in the system!
