My Asterisk is configured with SDES for media encryption. When I am trying to send a call from SIPp, I am getting below error message:
SRTP unprotect failed on SSRC 152112317 because of authentication failure 10
I tried in many ways and by using different scenario files. But, no luck. What I came to know as a conclusion is: SIPp does NOT supports actual SRTP media encryption. I am not sure whether it is correct or not? Can any one confirm? If SIPp supports to send a call to Asterisk (SDES), It would be great it anyone could send that working scenario file.
By the way, I have already tried a lot by using Google, and various LLMs like Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.
