Description
Currently, customers who likes to run SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) as a guest in a kubevirt VM, might login to https://www.suse.com/download/sles/ and create their own private containerdisk. This approach seems to be not straightforward to automate to keep the containerdisk up to date.
Providing SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) in a kubevirt containerdisk would make it more easy for SUSE edge customer to create a SLES VM like in https://documentation.suse.com/suse-edge/3.3/html/edge/components-kubevirt.html#id-deploying-virtual-machines . In addition it would be also helpful for SLES customers to create SLES VMs in other kubevirt based virtualization environments.
https://github.com/kubevirt/containerdisks/ is a tool which creates updated containerdisks for various community Linux distributions automatically.
