There will always be a level of detail that is inappropriate for the documentation, both in terms of maintenance resource and in terms of documentation complexity. #6216 is one example. In these cases we want people to get in touch on GitHub so we can provide 'custom details'.

This is not clear at the moment - the Getting Involved page is not clearly associated with the User Guide. I would like to have one or more pages/sections in the User Guide along the lines of Need more detail? Get in touch ....
